Solo Class

Many people showed an interest in the SDI SOLO diving course. I do not have a specific date scheduled but would be happy to set up some times with any of you in the near future. The course walks you through handling situations which you may come across as a solo diver. It teaches the use of lift bags and dive reels and the use of a pony bottle. At the completion of the course you will obtain a SOLO diving card. The card will come in handy on your next dive vacation when you don't have a choice of diving partners. The card will give you the choice of diving alone and enjoying your dive without the hassles of babysitting those who may be less skilled.

You are required to be 18 years old and have 100 logged dives under your belt. Look at the site for further information reference this course SOLO Course

Take a look at the new home page and give us your opinion of the introduction.

IMMERSION DIVING - We have been trying to come up with an easy explanation of how Edmonds Technical diving operates its courses. We try to explain to people that our costs are all inclusive, but we are afraid that people still do not understand that there are no extra costs; no extra fee for gases, no extra fee for registrations and no extra fees for books. We are going to start using the term "Immersion Diving." We like the term and feel it explains that when you come to ETDS to learn to dive - you are immersed in the experience for one flat fee. You live, eat and breathe diving while taking one of our courses. We are interested in hearing your comments on this slogan. Feel free to E-mail @ Diveservice@aol.com

Gas Blending

Many of you have learned to dive Nitrox and Trimix. However you have been wondering about learning how to blend your own gases. ETDS offers a number of courses all the way through Instructor levels. We not only teach you the equations to blend gases we also give you hands on experience with two different blending systems; Partial Pressure and Continuous flow. In the partial pressure system we utilize straight bleed over from storage banks and also have the use of a MASTERLINE electronic booster. Along with blending the gases we are also happy to discuss setting up your own system and can help you purchase any necessary components to build your own.

Give us a call to set up a blending class - or look at our site for further information - Blending
