One of the greatest locations to dive in the Northwest is Hood Canal. Two hours from Portland, Seattle or less than a day’s drive from most locations in the North West part of the U.S. When traveling to this great dive location, you want to spend longer than one day. Why not stay at the best house on the Hood Canal. Better known as, “THE YELLOW HOUSE.”

The Yellow House vacation rental property is available for divers (and non-divers) year round. The house is specifically suited for dive groups. There is a dive locker located on the property which houses a convenient dry room, suit up area and toilet. Directly across the street is an excellent training ground for both beginning and technical divers.

The house itself is designed as a home away from home. Everything you could ask for or need is provided. Full kitchen, comfortable beds, clean rooms, and wonderful views are just a few of the very special attributes to this divers dream home. Just out the back door is a large hot tub which is situated next to the large stainless steel BBQ and outdoor fireplace.

DIRECTIONS (From Olympia, WA)

Get on HWY 101 N from I-5 (Olympia WA). Follow the HWY 101 signs past Shelton. Approximately 20 minutes outside of Shelton you will see the Hoodsport Winery. When you pass the "Hoodsport Winery" you are very close. Slow Down! Around the next corner you will see a national parks sign and the Hoodsport limits sign. The Yellow House / Red barn is directly across from the Hoodsport limit sign on your left hand side.

Pricing
We are now taking reservations for your group or individuals. If you spend a weekend with us it is scheduled Friday through Sunday. The price includes the rental, Washington State lodging tax and 30 air fills for your group at Hood Sport ’N Dive (www.hoodsportndive.com). We also offer reduced price weekday specials (Tuesday through Thursday) with the price depending on the number of guests. We offer reduced rates for any group who reserves and uses the house more than two times in a calendar year. Underwater Training Site

The water across the street is suited for all types of divers, from the beginner to the Technical. Numerous artistic structures are located throughout the site. There are also numerous older vessels which have found their resting place in the area.
